Terms

Short, and in plain words, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.

What this is

no1es keeps your notes as ordinary files on your own computer. This website is the small part that lives online: it holds what you say to an assistant while you are away from your computer, keeps a copy of your to-dos and calendar so a phone can show them, and gives you one web address that an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude can talk to.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep that Google account secure, because anyone who can sign in to it can reach what is held here. One person, one account. Do not use someone else's.

Your notes are yours

Everything you write stays yours. No claim is made over any of it, and it is never used to train a model. Your notes are not uploaded here at all, so this is not a promise that needs trusting: it is how the thing is built.

What you agree not to do

Do not use this to break the law or to harm anyone. Do not try to reach another person's account. Do not attack the service, flood it with requests or work around its limits. Do not resell access to it.

Limits

There are caps on how much can be held for one account at a time and how many computers can be paired, so that one account cannot crowd out another. If you hit one, the service says so plainly rather than quietly dropping your things.

What is not promised

This is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will always be available or free of faults. It is young software. Do not make it the only copy of anything that matters: your notes live on your own computer, so keep backing that up the way you would anyway.

Nothing here is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the law where you live.

Email

If you allow it, no1es can read your recent mail on your own computer and write drafts. It cannot send. A draft sits in your Gmail until you open it and press send. You are responsible for anything you do send.

Stopping

Delete your account from your account page whenever you like, and everything held here goes with it. Access may be withdrawn if an account is used to break these terms or to harm the service or another person.

Changes

If these terms change, the date below changes. Continuing to use the service after that means the new terms apply.
